About Piccolina Gallery
Opened to support emerging and local artists, Piccolina Gallery is a small space committed to allow artists a platform to express themselves authentically in a nurturing environment.
Located above the Ferrara pasta bar. An eclectic, home away from home style gem of a restaurant that reflects the rich tapestry of its diverse community, Piccolina Gallery welcomes artists from all backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives.
The Gallery acknowledges the importance of supporting the local art scene and are keen to showcase the talent within our community by providing opportunities for artists to gain recognition and exposure. Our aim is to engage with the local community by curating small exhibitions that are evocative, engaging, where one can discover fresh talent and invest in artwork that may increase in value over time. We will also be running artists workshops, talks and educational programs.
We would like to foster collaboration and encourage artists of all mediums to connect, collaborate and inspire one another.
Beyond its role as an exhibition space, Piccolina Gallery on Harris takes pride in being a community space. It serves as a nurturing ground for emerging artists, offering workshops, mentorship programs, and networking events. This community-centric approach aims to empower artists at the beginning of their careers, providing them with the resources and support needed to thrive in the competitive art scene.
The gallery's commitment to fostering a sense of community extends to the public as well. Through open events, talks, and interactive sessions, Piccolina Gallery encourages a broader engagement with art, making it an accessible and enriching experience for everyone in Harris and beyond.
In essence, Piccolina Gallery on Harris is more than a physical space; it's a catalyst for creativity, collaboration, and community building. It stands as a testament to the transformative power of art and its ability to bring people together in a shared celebration of expression and imagination.
